Levi Hospital opened its doors in 1914 and is a specialty hospital that offers outpatient physical rehabilitation (providing physical therapy, occupational therapy and sports medicine), an arthritis treatment clinic, X-Ray, laboratory, osteoporosis testing and treatment, inpatient adult psychiatric services and an intensive outpatient psychiatric program called Transitions.
Levi Hospital’s outpatient rehab services house a 3,000 square ft. gym and a 50’ x 20’ pool filled with thermal waters from Hot Springs National Park. Levi Hospital is the only place in the world that a person can get physical or occupational therapy in the Hot Springs National Park Thermal Water. Rehabilitation aids patients in recovery from strokes, surgery, accidents and sports-related injuries and treatment to help ease symptoms of various diseases including osteoporosis, lupus and arthritis. Levi also provides a student athlete sports medicine outreach program in area schools by providing a Certified Athletic Trainer on the sidelines at practices and games. Levi has two locations to serve you. In addition to its location on 300 Prospect Avenue, Levi has a satellite outpatient rehab therapy clinic at the YMCA.
Levi helps to heal the body and the mind. In addition to providing physical and occupational therapy, Levi offers mental health therapy through two programs.
Levi’s Inpatient Adult Psychiatric Program began in 1988. Levi’s psychiatric program serves people from all over Arkansas because we have one of only a few inpatient adult psychiatric programs in the state (and the only one in Garland County). The Transitions Intensive Outpatient Psychiatric Program is a short term outpatient program that can be alternative to inpatient psychiatric treatment or a transition from inpatient treatment to traditional outpatient care.
Levi Hospital is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. For more information about any of Levi’s services, please call 501-624-1281.
